Aspect of the southern horizon from Pic du Midi Observatory
Canon EOS 5D equiped with a Canon 24-70 mm 1:2.8 L lens (used here at the focal length of 70 mm f/2.8). Stack of 6 x 2 minutes exposures at ISO800 with the "add_max" algorithm of Iris software. These night (July 29, 2006), the horizon is illuminated by spain cities light reflection on hight altitude clouds. |

night, same horizon and same lens, but with a focal length of 24 mm @ f/2.8.Two meteors
are visibles in these ten minutes exposure.
