Nova Scorpii 2012
(MOA 2012 BLG-320)

Discovered by a Microlensing Observations in Astrophysics (MOA) collaboration at I = 18.5 on 2012 May 22.80 UT. Possible slow "Fe II-type" classical nova. - see IAU Electronic Telegram No. 3136

Position: RA = 17h50m53s.90, Dec = -32°37'20".5 (equinox 2000.0) - see IAU CBET #2672.

Setup: Celestron 11 telescope (0.28-m diameter) + LISA spectrograph (sampling = 2.1 A/pixel - R = 800 - 35 microns slit) + Atik314L+ CCD camera - Data reduction : ISIS

Note: Atmospheric extinction and instrumental response are evaluated from observation of nearest star HD175864.

V mag. = nearly 10.1
Exposure: 11 x 300 seconds
