NOVA VULPECULAE 2007


Discovered by Hiroshi Abe (Yatsuka-cho, Matsue, Shimane-ken, Japan) on several 30-s survey frames (limiting mag about 11.5) taken around Aug. 8.54 UT using a Canon EOS Kiss Digital Camera (+ 35-mm f/2.8 Pentax lens) at mag. 9.6. See IAUC 8861.
Position:   R.A. = 19h54m24s.3, Decl. = +20°52'47" (equinox 2000.0)

SPECTROSCOPIC OBSERVATIONS

Telescope: Celestron 11 telescope (0.28 m diameter) -
Spectrograph: LHIRES3 with a 1200 g/mm grating (spectral sampling of 0.34 A/pixel, R=6800)
