OF THE GP MOUNT AND SKY SENSOR 2000 PC
Test of pointing
precision of the GP mount and Sky sensor 2000 PC. For this I have pointed successively
numerous galaxies field... The equatorial coordinates are enter with the Iris
software (serial link between the SS2000 and the computer).
Instrument: Takahashi FSQ-106 refractor - F = 530 mm
CCD: Audine camera & KAF-0401E (binning 1x1 - no shutter)
Date: February 1, 2000
Integration time: 3 x 1 minutes
Field of view: 10.3' x 10.3'
Separation between division: 1'

Conclusion: pointing accuracy
is +/- 5 arcminute (peak to valley) in AD and DEC for the Vixen GP mount and
SKY SENSOR equipment.
