NOVA SAGITTARII 2001 N°3 (V4740 SAGITTARII)
Nova discover by Alfredo Pereira, Portugal, on Sep. 5.846 UT at magnitude 7.0, and William Liller,Chile on Sep. 3.979 UT (IAU Circular 7706) Nova V4740 Sgr spectrum at the date of Sep. 11.814 UT. Add of 17 exposures integrated 120 seconds each. The instrumental responsivity is corrected by the observation of Vega spectrum. The relative flux is normalized for the wavelength of 6670 angstroms. We measure an expansion velocity in this spectral profile (FWHM) of about 1740 km/s. Nova V4740 Sgr spectrum at the date of 12.852 September 2001 UT. Add of 17 exposures integrated 120 seconds each. Comparison of 11 and 12 September spectra of Nova Sgr n°3. The peak intensity of H-alpha increase of a factor in only 24 hours relative to the red continuum. Detail of the H-alpha region. |
